Gates of Olympus 2500 vs 1000: What Changed?

Gates of Olympus 2500 vs 1000

Gates of Olympus 2500 is not merely a renamed Gates of Olympus 1000. Both retain the Zeus theme, Pay Anywhere wins and tumble-style gameplay, but the 2026 game puts much more emphasis on multiplier progression and bonus variety.

The headline difference: 2,500x multiplier symbols

The 2500 edition allows multiplier symbols of up to 2,500x. More importantly, Pragmatic Play combines that with four bonus modes rather than relying on one familiar free-spins structure.

Four bonus modes in 2500

Landing four or more scatters in Gates of Olympus 2500 awards 15 free spins and activates a wheel that selects the bonus type. Free Spins 1 builds a multiplier total from multipliers on winning spins. Free Spins 2 can collect multipliers whether or not the current tumble wins, with the accumulated total applying to subsequent wins. Each structure also has a Super version with a minimum 10x multiplier.

RTP comparison

Pragmatic Play lists Gates of Olympus 2500 at 96.51% RTP. RTP is theoretical and should not be interpreted as the amount you will receive back during a session.

Which one should you play?

If you enjoy the established Gates formula but want a more elaborate bonus structure, 2500 is the more feature-heavy option. If you already know Gates of Olympus 1000, use the 2500 demo first because the bonus behaviour is different enough to learn before risking Rand.

Remember the risk

Neither version offers a strategy that can overcome the house edge. Multiplier size does not make a slot predictable. Keep stakes within a predetermined entertainment budget and never chase a loss.
